Is there a boat from old key west resort to Disney springs

    Hi there, Jill!

Welcome to planDisney and thanks for sailing over with a wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. It looks like you'll be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth in just a few short days - how exciting! There's nothing like a relaxing stay at a Disney Resort hotel. I'd be happy to help you prepare for a restful resort experience.

Jill, Disney's Old Key West Resort is one of my family's favorite Deluxe Villa Resorts. (In fact, we're counting down the days until our next stay here, scheduled for May 2024!) Not only do we love soaking in the tropical ambiance and scenic golf course views, but we enjoy the availability of multiple complimentary transportation options as well! I'm happy to share that Guests can use watercraft transportation between Disney's Old Key West Resort and Disney Springs. The Sassagoula River Cruise watercraft transportation system connects Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, Disney's Old Key West Resort, and Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa to Disney Springs. The operation of watercraft transportation is subject to water weather conditions for safety reasons.

When you board a Sassagoula River Cruise watercraft at Disney's Old Key West Resort, you'll be dropped off at the Marketplace district at Disney Springs. To reach other areas in this shopping and dining hotspot, you'll have the option of boarding another "internal" watercraft service to shuttle you between The Landing, the West Side, and the Marketplace. Alternatively, you're welcome to walk from one end of Disney Springs to the other. (It's approximately a 20-minute walk from end to end.) During your time at Disney Springs, I highly recommend checking out Summer House on the Lake, a new dining location in the West Side district. This trendy locale offers delicious, fresh plates as well as not-to-be-missed cookies from an in-house bakery. You can thank me later!

Jill, I hope you've found this information helpful as you prepare to check in at Disney's Old Key West Resort. I wish you a stay filled with relaxation and enchantment! If you have any additional planning questions, feel free to revisit us right here at planDisney anytime. We're here to help you make the most of your time at The Most Magical Place on Earth!

    Warm wishes,

    Lauren
