Land ho, Susan! Thanks for commandeering your ship and heading over to planDisney!
Susan,
water transportation is my favorite way to get around the Walt Disney World Resort and I'm happy to chat with you about this mode of transportation. Currently the water transportation to and from Disney Springs (
connecting to Disney's Old Key West Resort) remains on pause as the Walt Disney World Resort is
focused on enhanced health and safety measures. Susan, like you I hope to see the return of this service soon as I'm eager to channel my inner Jack Sparrow and feel the wind on my face as I cruise over to my dinner reservation. While I don't have any information about a possible reopening date, please bookmark the
Disney Parks Blog as announcements pop up there first. In the meantime, I'm happy to report that bus transportation is currently connecting Disney's Old Key West Resort to Disney Springs.
Susan, with an arrival date that is only a few weeks away, it's likely that seafaring won't be on your itinerary, so I hope you're able to visit some of my favorite attractions that involve a boat like
Frozen Ever After at EPCOT,
Na'vi River Journey at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and of course...
Pirates of the Caribbean at Magic Kingdom Park.
Susan, wishing you a trip filled with Magical moments. Please come on back to planDisney with any additional questions you might have.
Lauren
