    Is the boat launch from Boardwalk to HS handicap accessible for someone who cannot transfer out of a wheelchair? We know the boats are handicap accessible but we really need to know if my sister can ride in her chair on the boat. Thank you!

    Hi Christine!
    Yes, both the boats and docks/launches are handicap accessible. Upon docking at the launch, the captain or first mate will disembark and place a ramp down connecting the launch and deck of the boat. Your sister will then simply navigate her wheelchair onto the boat and you will be on your way. Should you or your sister require assistance, the captain and/or mate will be happy to assist you.
