Can you take boat from Hollywood Studios directly to Epcot or do you need to go to a resort ? If you need to go to a resort first, which one would involve less walking to go in back of Epcot-International Gateway.Using buses any faster?

    Hi Marcia!
The short answer is "no" , Disney's Beach Club Resort, and "no".
Seriously, though, there is no DIRECT boat service from Disney's Hollywood Studios to EPCOT, but you can still take a relaxing boat ride from one to the other. If you do take the boat, you will first stop at the Dolphin/Swan resorts (one stop), then go on to the Yacht Club & Beach Club resorts (one stop), then cross the lake to the Boardwalk (one stop), and then go to the International Gateway of EPCOT. The full length of the boat ride for all stops is probably less than 30 minutes and is a peaceful way to relax for a few minutes. I recommend it as long as you are not in a hurry, even though I do not think that the buses are any faster. I hope this helps and I wish you a Magical vacation!! :)
