Welcome Home, Angela! Thanks for visiting planDisney--it's the best day ever anytime I get to meet a fellow
Disney Vacation Club Member. I'm ready to leap into action like Maximus chasing down some bad guys to track down the information you're looking for.
There is so much to love about
Disney's BoardWalk Villas, don't you think? I grew up near the Jersey Shore, and the Atlantic City vibes of this resort hit me right in the feels any time we visit. The location really can't be beat--we love being able to walk to
EPCOT and
Disney's Hollywood Studios whenever we stay at the BoardWalk or the other resorts around Crescent Lake. It also makes for a great scenic loop if you're looking to get in a
run during your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
The BoardWalk Villas are nearing the end of a scheduled refurbishment and the updated decor is beachy and beautiful. My planDisney bestie
Brent just stayed there for the first time and is now firmly pro-Boardwalk. He also told me about a
Carousel Coffee beverage called a Shakerato that I will definitely be sampling on my upcoming visit to Walt Disney World!
Angela, the BoardWalk actually does not have adjoining Deluxe Studios. You could consider a 2-Bedroom Lockout Villa for your stay, which combines a Studio with a 1-Bedroom Villa and sleeps up to 9 Guests (plus 1 infant under the age of 3). These are available with a Garden or Pool View, and will also give you a dedicated living space and a fully-equipped kitchen. It's a really nice option for a group!
I hope the DVC stars align for the perfect BoardWalk accommodations for your December vacation, Angela! If you have any more questions before then, please
send me a question anytime. Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney!
Stay Magical!
Susan
