Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kevin!
Kevin, as a
Disney Vacation Club Member, I love the wide array of accommodations available at the Disney Vacation Club Resorts. The first time my family stayed in a 1-Bedroom Villa, I immediately fell in love with the added space, full kitchen and having such convenient access to a washer and dryer! The "apartment feel" of these villas really helped us relax and recharge after a long day in the park.
Now, let's talk about what might be the perfect villa for your traveling party.
Currently the 1-Bedroom Villa at
Disney's BoardWalk Villas sleeps four. However, the Deluxe Studio room DOES sleep five with the fifth person using the pull-down bed located under the tv unit. If you are hoping for the space provided in a 1-Bedroom Villa but need to accommodate five guests, I would take a look at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas- both Jambo House and
Kidani Village,
The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa,
Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort and
Disney's Old Key West Resort. You will find 1-Bedroom Villas that sleep five at all of these resorts.
Kevin, I hope this helps as you are choosing a place to stay for your upcoming trip. I often have a difficult time selecting a Disney Vacation Club Resort for our travels because they are each unique with perks to match! If
Disney's BoardWalk area is your top priority, maybe the Deluxe Studio room is the best choice. If you're hoping to spread out in a 1-Bedroom Villa, there are some other great options available. I know that wherever you choose to stay, you're bound to have a Magical trip as soon as you hEAR that first, "
Welcome home."
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel and I hope you'll come back and see us with any other questions you might have.
Lauren
