Where is the boardwalk from Port Orleans?

    Hiya, Simone! Welcome to planDisney!

Did you know that Walt Disney World is as big as San Francisco and twice the size of Manhattan? At 25,000 total acres, even the most seasoned traveler can need directions. So let’s get you where you need to go!

BoardWalk Inn is located to the southwest of the Port Orleans Resorts, between EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. Unless you are driving your own vehicle or using a ride share service (like the Minnie Vans from Lyft), there isn’t a direct route from either Port Orleans - Riverside or Port Orleans - French Quarter to BoardWalk Inn. If you want to use complimentary Walt Disney World transportation, then the best route is to take a bus from Port Orleans to Hollywood Studios and then either walk or take a FriendShip Boat to BoardWalk Inn.

You can find directions to almost any location in Walt Disney World using the My Disney Experience mobile app. Just open the app and tap the pin icon along the bottom of your screen to view the map. Pick a location and then click “get directions,” and the app will tell you the travel time and step-by-step instructions, including multiple routes if there is more than one transportation option available.

Simone, I hope this information helps you chart the right course between Port Orleans and BoardWalk Inn. Pop back to planDisney if you have any other questions!

    Magical travels!
