Will The Boardwalk be lively in the late spring/summer 2017? Are evenings more lively than day hours there? It was super quiet on our last visit and I didn't know if we should include it in our itinerary.

Hi Lisa, thanks for stopping by with your question.
I am a fan of Disney’s Boardwalk, especially in the evenings. It’s a nice place for ending your magical day after enjoying special moments at one of Disney Theme Parks. I like to have a wonderful dinner there with my family at one of its restaurants, and walk down the promenade for relaxing. By now, Trattoria al Forno is our favorite dining place. Delicious food!
You have not mentioned when it was your last visit, but since February 2016, Disney’s Boardwalk have been under refurbishments and some places have closed permanently, to make room for some new and enhanced magic. We can expect something new starting to come up on the fall of 2016, for example, the reopening of Flying Fish Café, with a fully renovated dining room.
If you are looking for more restaurant options, shops and entertainment, maybe Disney Springs would be a great alternative for your family. During the day or at night, it is always lively in there. A nice place for great moments.
Hope this helps your planning. Please, don’t hesitate to come back if you have further questions.
    Have a pixie-dusted day!
