Hi Lisa,
It's great to see you planning Disney at planDisney again! Our name may have changed since you last submitted a question, but we are still that magical corner of the digital universe where Guests help Guests plan unforgettable Disney vacations.
In most cases, planDisney panelists let our experience be your guide. Today, I did the opposite and let your question be my guide! I had a late breakfast reservation at
Trattoria al Forno at
Disney's BoardWalk and arrived a little early to do some research on your behalf. I walked up to the lobby, cast my vote for the Cast Pumpkin Decorating Contest (the Front Desk's presentation of the classic Lady and the Tramp spaghetti scene is incredible), and headed toward the
Inn side of the resort. I took a left just before the elevators and noted a few Guest rooms on the non-water side of the hallway but none on the water side. I went back to the lobby and spoke with a front desk Cast Member about your question. She confirmed that there are no Water View Rooms on the same level as the lobby due to the space requirements of
Trattoria al Forno and
Flying Fish. The Cast Member then informed me that water-front rooms are available on floors three through five (accessible by elevator).
My family loved our stay in a room with a garden view at Disney's BoardWalk Inn last spring. The
recently remodeled rooms are spacious and feature a soothing color palette along with adorable Disney details. I similarly loved my meal at Trattoria al Forno this morning. The
Sunrise Breakfast Pizza enjoyed with an Iced Coffee was memorably delicious.
I hope this information helps you understand your options for a Water View Room at Disney's BoardWalk Inn, Lisa. Please return to planDisney with any other trip-planning questions.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
