How should I get from the Boardwalk (we have breakfast ADR there) to Epcot? Should I use the Ferry, and where will it drop us off? OR should I use the skyliner - will that be open? Where would we get on/off to use the skyliner? Date will be 9/17/19

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Katie!

I love this question because you've touched on one of my very favorite parts of being at Disney's BoardWalk Inn: it's a very short walk from your breakfast reservation to Epcot! It's a beautiful walk by the water that takes less than 10 minutes and will take you right to the International Gateway entrance in World Showcase, between the United Kingdom and France Pavilions. There is also the option of water transportation that can pick you up at Disney's BoardWalk Inn and take you to the International Gateway as well, but I find it's often quicker to walk!

Since you asked about it, let's also chat about the Disney Skyliner, which is going to start transporting guests later this year. We're expecting it to open this fall, but we don't have an exact opening date yet. I'm so so excited to try it out because guests are going to be able to glide through the sky from select Walt Disney World Resort Hotels to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios. The hub station that's going to be servicing Disney's BoardWalk Inn is also the stop where you would get off to get to Epcot, so that gives you an idea of the short distance between those two locations. Have you seen that 55 Disney-themed gondolas were recently unwrapped and are being tested? I definitely have a few favorites but I can't wait to hitch a ride with Madame Leota and the Hitchhiking Ghosts from Haunted Mansion!

I hope this answers your questions, Katie, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
