Bright Suns, Kenneth!
Time is certainly of the essence. Our Resistance forces on Batuu are gathering and they need your support!
As long as everyone is linked through the My Family & Friends List in
My Disney Experience, anyone in your group could use the
My Disney Experience Mobile App to
join a boarding group for
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Stay together and communicate. Remove any extraneous individuals from your My Family & Friends List so that you can quickly select those who will be with you in the park on that day. One suggestion would be to give each member of your party a number and let that be the order they try to join a boarding group should the first person's mobile app not work. The person with number one would try first, then number two and so on until you are successful. Another suggestion would be to just have everyone in your party ready to press the "Join Boarding Group" link and the first person who can access it communicates with the group so others are not selecting people simultaneously.
If you have multiple people trying to join a boarding group at the same time and they add different members of your party to their groups, you all could get different boarding groups even though you are trying to join at the same time. So, if it matters to you that you all experience the attraction together, use one of the suggestions I mentioned earlier. My family adopted the attitude that we fought the First Order together or not at all.
To prepare, be sure that you have your transport secured for that morning and will arrive 45 minutes to an hour early. You need enough time to clear security and scan into the park prior to park opening. Locate a Cast Member who might be able to assist should something go wrong with your mobile app. Plant your crew in line with that Cast Member if possible. If the mobile app does not read some members of your party as in the park, you will need to ask the Cast Member to scan you into a boarding group. On our last visit, we had to enlist the help of a Cast Member one day. She used our MagicBands to add us to a boarding group with what looked like an iPad.
It sounds as if you might be the one to bear the boarding group responsibility in your party. Embrace the challenge. I can sense that your people trust you. Doubt not the seriousness of your mission. You will need friends in the Cause. Reserve space at
Oga's Cantina to converse with fellow Resistance allies.
Recharge at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo. And, perhaps most important, hone your translation and hacking skills with your
Star Wars: Datapad on Play Disney Parks Mobile App. First Order operatives are everywhere, and their movements have been unpredictable.
Kenneth, we wish you safe passage and our forces anticipate your swift arrival.
Good journey,
Donyell
