Bright suns, Katy! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel on your way to the planet Batuu.
The Force is strong with my family, so we are counting down the days until our vacation next month when we will be able to experience
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance for the first time. Currently, guests wishing to access this new one-of-kind attraction must use their
My Disney Experience mobile app to
join a boarding group. Boarding groups have been filling quickly each day, so I recommend that you and your entire party arrive at
Disney's Hollywood Studios at least 30 minutes before the posted park opening time.
To join a boarding group, ALL guests in your party who want to experience Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance must be inside Disney's Hollywood Studios. At park opening time, when the boarding groups become available, one person from your group will use their app to request a boarding group for all of the members of the party who wish to ride, but everyone must already be inside the park. Procedures for experiencing Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance are subject to change at any time, so please keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for all of the latest news and announcements regarding this epic new attraction.
Once you have your boarding group secured, you and your family can begin enjoying all that Disney's Hollywood Studios has to offer. You might want to head over for an early morning visit to Andy's backyard at
Toy Story Land. I highly recommend breakfast at
Woody's Lunch Box; the chocolate-hazelnut lunch box tart and the breakfast bowl are my favorites!
While you wait for your turn to experience Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, you can also explore the rest of
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. Before your visit, you might want to take a look at these Disney Parks Moms Panel
tips for making the most of your Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge visit, and while you're at it, check out
the adventure a few of my fellow panelists recently had at
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run.
Wishing you a vacation that is out of this galaxy!
Samantha
