When boarding the Magical Express at the Orlando airport, approximately how many stops does it make and how long does it take to get to the resort?

    Hi, Cheryl!

It sure is nice knowing that you do not have to worry about driving during your Walt Disney World vacation. Put those smart phone maps and GPS away...you will not need any directions, as your friendly bus drivers, boat captains, and monorail pilots will be happy to get you where you need to go!

Disney's Magical Express will be waiting for you at the Orlando Airport on the B-SIDE, level 1. When you check-in, you will be told which motorcoach to board. Your driver will then zoom you over to Walt Disney World where your lovely resort will be waiting for you. I have had as little as just one stop at my resort, and as many as 3 resort stops. It just depends on the flow of guests at that time. They usually stop at resorts that are in the same area, so the stops are brief then the next resort is just minutes away. Your commute should be about an hour, but could be longer depending on traffic.

If you are planning out your first day, I usually do not plan any FastPass+ or dining until about 3 hours after my scheduled landing time at MCO. This gives me time to get to my resort, drop off my carry-on luggage, stop in my room (if ready) then hop on Disney Transportation to my desired destination. I am not one who likes to rush so I find 3 hours to be adequate. Remember, you are on vacation, no stressing or rushing!

Wishing you a magical stay in Walt Disney World!
