Bright suns, Elizabeth! That's how we say "Hello!" on the planet Batuu. Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm happy to assist in your vacation planning.
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is unlike anything I've ever experienced before in a theme park. It truly is out of this galaxy! Currently, the only way to ride this unique, immersive attraction is by
joining a boarding group upon entering Disney's Hollywood Studios. This is most easily done through the
My Disney Experience App, but if no one in your party has access to a smart phone or other web-enabled device, you can also join the virtual queue by visiting a
Guest Experience Team kiosk. I would advise doing this as soon as possible, as boarding groups fill quickly with folks looking to join the Resistance. During the day, digital signage throughout the theme park will display the current boarding groups, so you'll want to keep an eye out for yours. As this is an exciting and unprecedented time for attractions at Disney's Hollywood Studios, I suggest keeping up with the latest intergalactic news on the
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge planning page, as procedures are subject to change.
During your visit to Black Spire Outpost, I suggest fueling up on galactic grub at
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo. No smart phone technology needed here to prepare your taste buds for takeoff in this restaurant! My fellow panelists and I had the opportunity to dine here during a recent visit, and we had a fantastic experience. With a variety of delicious, freshly prepared menu items, you're sure to leave satisfied and ready to take on the First Order.
I hope you have an incredible time living your own
Star Wars adventure this summer, Elizabeth.
As we say on Batuu, 'til the spire!
Betsy
