Welcome aboard, Marcella!
Your Disney cruise is right around the corner and I'm sure everyone is excited. Time to line up all the outfits for those wonderful pictures that you'll be taking onboard the Disney Fantasy. From the schedule, it looks like you will be taking a 7-night Western Caribbean voyage on March 15th. You have 2 Dress Up (formal and semi-formal) nights that you can look forward to. You can choose to go all out dressy, or toned down a tad bit. Outfits can be similar to what you would wear to a nice restaurant on date night. A nice dress shirt and tie would surely be fine for your husband and son. Jackets would be a great addition if you have space to pack them in your luggage. My 12-year old son loves the white shirt with suspenders plus blazer look, with comfy converse shoes. It goes well with his smoothly combed retro style hair cut. :-).
Our family likes to dress it up for these nights, since we love getting family portraits at the atrium with the professional backgrounds that the Disney Photopass staff sets up. They make great souvenirs! To help you plan the outfits for you and your shipmates, here's what the suggested attire is for each of those nights:
Day 1 - Cruise Casual
Day 2 - Dress Up (Formal)
Day 3 - Cruise Casual
Day 4 - Cruise Casual
Day 5 - Cruise Casual * Pirate Night * (Pirate attire highly encouraged)
Day 6 - Semi Formal
Day 7 - Cruise Casual
I hope you'll have space to pack some pirate gear for your buccaneers. This signature Disney pirate party is one of a kind on the high seas. You've got
magical moments waiting to be made. Have a wonderful voyage and enjoy all the pixie dusted adventures onboard the Disney Fantasy! Bon voyage!
