Disney Cruise Line! It sounds like you have an amazing holiday planned on both land and sea. A cruise is going to be the perfect way to relax after your extended vacation. Lounge at the pool, rest in your wonderful stateroom, or book a relaxing massage or facial at the
Senses Spa & Salon.
When arriving at the port, the very friendly porters will be happy to help with all your luggage. They will provide you with plenty of
luggage tags as well as make sure all your bags are loaded onto the ship. Your checked luggage will arrive to your stateroom late afternoon. Please plan to keep a day-bag with your passports, medications, valuables, and anything you might need the first few hours of your cruise. Tipping the porters is not required but always appreciated.
Once all of your luggage is delivered you will find plenty of places to unpack by using the dresser drawers and large closets. The bed is raised so you will be able to store your luggage under the bed. There is also some open floor space in the closet where you can fit some smaller bags. If you need help finding space, chat with your Stateroom Host who will be happy to assist and give some tips on maximizing your storage.
Since you will have already been traveling for a few weeks before boarding, you might find you are in need of some clean clothes! Your ship will have self-service
laundry facilities available, as well as full-service if you prefer. The self-service laundry facilities have detergent available for purchase and irons and ironing boards if you need to press anything.
When
packing for your cruise, please know that you will not need a lot of fancy clothes. Most of the time you will find
cruise-casual is perfect. Nice shorts, casual pants, sundresses, and polo shirts are perfectly acceptable at meals (please no swimsuits in the dining areas, and proper attire and shoes are required).
Enjoy your extended holiday, and the crew is looking forward to seeing you onboard. They will greet you with a grand welcome and will make sure your cruise is practically perfect in every way!
