We will be boarding for a cruise only 3 days after my mom's 62nd birthday. Is there way to celebrate onboard even though her birthday will already have passed? She is really excited feeling going on this trip so I want to play it up as much as possible

    Welcome aboard, Nicole!

How exciting to hear that your family will be kicking off 2016 with such a huge bang. Your cruise can absolutely become a birthday voyage for your Mom! She will definitely be in for such a treat.

I would suggest that you contact the Disney Cruise Line travel desk now at 1-800-951-3532 so that a note can be added to your cruise reservation. You'll need your cruise reservation number when you call and just let them know that you will be celebrating your Mom's birthday when you set sail. That note will advise your dining team that your family is celebrating and they'll even prepare a special dessert - and a special song - on one of the evenings on your cruise. If you'd like that to be a surprise too :-), you'll want to clue in your main server and let them know which night you'd like to celebrate.

Make sure you stop by the Guest Services desk for a birthday pin. Your Mom is guaranteed to have an amazing post-birthday celebration on the Disney Cruise ship.

    Have a magical time celebrating!
