Hello, we are about to board the Dream for our first cruise soon. And our board time is 11:45. Is it best to have a pick up time of 10:30 or 11:30 from hotel. Hotel is in Cocoa Beach. Was not sure of how early we need to be at the ship terminal. Thanks.

    Ahoy, Ana!

Congratulations on booking your very first cruise with Disney Cruise Line! You'll be so happy you chose to sail on the beautiful Disney Dream. There's so much to see and do, and the ship itself is a sight to behold!

Port arrival times for guests are staggered throughout the morning, in order to keep the traffic flow at the check-in desk to a minimum. It's really up to you if you'd like to arrive a little early for your check-in, or right on time. (You won't be turned away if you arrive early.) Checking in at the port is a super-smooth process - just make sure you've filled out all the information in your Online Check-In, and print and sign the signature pages that are required. Bring your proper identification, and you're ready to go!

Once you're all checked in, you'll be given a boarding group number. There are plenty of places to relax in the gorgeous cruise terminal until they call your number. You might even have time for a picture with one of your favorite Disney Characters in the lobby!

Once you board the ship, you'll be able to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at Cabanas, on Deck 11. Crab legs, anyone? Staterooms are usually open and available to guests around 1:30. Make sure to pack a day bag with any essentials you might need until you're reunited with your luggage in your stateroom. That includes a bathing suit if you'd like to go for a dip in the pool!

I hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any further questions.

    Have a magical day! - Diane W.
