Hi Richard!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Now that the New Year is here you must be getting SO EXCITED for your
European adventure with Disney Cruise Line. Hopefully you’ve been exploring the incredible and unique Port Adventures that are available during your stops so that when the time comes you are ready to get them reserved.
Traveling internationally with little ones can be so fun and you will make so many wonderful memories, but it does involve a lot of preplanning and thinking ahead! All the extra gear that little ones require makes you really think about what you need ahead of time. When we traveled with our little guys to Europe, we opted to not bring a car seat because honestly, we didn’t want to have to lug it around and store in in the stateroom. Instead, we opted for transportation through Disney Cruise Line to the port for embarkation alleviating the need for our car seat. We now travel with an inflatable booster seat now that our boys are older which is a great alternative if your littles are big enough for that type of seat. If you do bring a car seat with you, you will need to store it in your stateroom as Disney Cruise Line does not offer any sort of storage for those types of items during your voyage. There is room under the bed for an umbrella stroller and large suitcase, but I am not sure if the height is enough to stow away a car seat. You would likely need to find a corner of the stateroom for it to stay during your time onboard.
Just a reminder -- last minute essentials (diapers, wipes, over the counter medications) can be
purchased onboard if you need them!
Happy Sailing!
