With Bluey and Bingo debuting on Dream this spring and Wish starting in June, will those ships still have a pirate night? I noticed pyjama parties as an activity. Also, will there be meet and greets (that are not app sign up)?

    G'day, Beth!

My family will be sailing on the Disney Wonder in a few weeks. We have excitedly followed along with Guests who are on the cruise from Sydney to Honolulu. We can't wait for the ship to approach the West Coast again so we can get on my favorite of the Disney Cruise Line ships again. But it's also exciting to see that Bluey and her sister Bingo may have taken advantage of the Wonder's repositioning cruise to make their way from Down Under to the States. We also happen to have a cruise on the Disney Dream booked for later this year. It will be great to finally meet Bluey and Bingo in real life on the Dream. That is something worth activating "dance mode" for!

Speaking of dance mode, I have a feeling that's something we are going to be able to do a fair amount during events and meetings with Bluey and Bingo. As you are aware, they will be joining Guests sailing out of Florida starting this year on the Disney Dream sailing out of Fort Lauderdale and advancing on to the Disney Wish itineraries embarking from Port Canaveral later.

Our planDisney pal Kristi recently sailed on the Dream with her family. She shared with the rest of us on the planDisney Panel that they did indeed get to meet Bluey and Bingo! (Their photo was adorable!) Beside the "Wakey Wakey with Bluey and Bingo" and the "Bluey and Bingo's Pyjama Party" activities listed on the Disney Cruise Line website (which were both advertised as events for "all ages" scheduled in the D Lounge), Kristi reported that there was a "Bluey's Favourite Games" event held during an open house in Disney's Oceaneer Club. (That's also where they got that cute photo with the characters.) So it would appear that there are a variety of opportunities to get to meet those adorable sisters from Australia.

Something to keep in mind is that characters and events may be subject to change. So it's important to check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you board your cruise to see the latest offerings available during your sailing. Oh, and besides getting the chance to meet Bluey and Bingo, you can also expect to enjoy the Disney Cruise Line's signature Pirate Night festivities. Yo ho!

    Have a magical cruise, Beth!
