Is the blue line boat between the contemporary and wilderness lodge operating now?

    Hi Robert,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for asking us a question.

I had the chance to stay at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge recently and I absolutely lovely my stay. It really is a great resort, with a really lovely and laid-back feeling. And the ability to use Walt Disney World Water Transportation to go to Magic Kingdom Park really is a great way to arrive for a day of Disney fun in style!

One of the things that I used to love about staying at that Resort was the fact that you could also use water transportation to both Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Unfortunately, when I visited last month, that option still wasn’t available. That said, transportation options are slowly being added back to various Disney Resort Collection hotels, so that boat may be an option for you during your visit. If you have any questions about the best way to get to your destination, be sure to ask your Resort Front Desk for their recommendations. And don’t forget that Minnie Van Service is always a great option if you’re looking to go “Resort Hopping.”

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. We’re always happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,
