Is the Blue Bayou closed Nov 1 & 2?

Boo to you, Katrina! Thanks for popping over to planDisney during the spookiest time of year. I'm happy to help with your dining question!

Blue Bayou is one of the most iconic dining spots at the Disneyland Resort, and I love that you're considering it during your visit. The most recent resort information shows that it should be open both on November 1 and on November 2. However, it appears that the reservations on those dates are fully booked at present. No fear! I recommend that you keep checking back in case any might open before your visit. As other guests change their plans, you might see availability pop up if you haven't already snagged those seats.

Katrina, if you aren't able to score a Blue Bayou dining reservation before your visit, I recommend heading to Blue Bayou when it opens and seeing about joining the Walk-Up List. Sometimes, there is an option to join the Walk-Up List in the Disneyland Mobile App. To check, search for Blue Bayou, and on the restaurant's page, there may be an option to "Join Walk-Up List". You will usually need to be near the restaurant to join the Walk-Up List. You may need to be flexible with your dining time when booking for the same day.

While it's not quite the same as dining near pirates, you can also check out the nearby Cafe Orleans (their Monte Cristo is amazing!) or River Belle Terrace (try the Chicken Pot Pie Soup!). Both of these locations also take reservations (subject to availability).

I hope this information helps, Katrina. Please visit again anytime!

    See ya real soon,
    Melissa
