Is the Blue Bayou closed? I can't believe that every day in August and September is sold out. Thank you

Welcome to planDisney, Elizabeth. Your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth is nearly here - you must be so excited!

I am happy to answer your question about Blue Bayou. Advanced dining reservations for the Disneyland Resort open between 2 and 60 days in advance, and certain restaurants, like Blue Bayou, are extremely popular and reservations fill quickly.... We are talking lightning quick right at the 60-day mark! I looked at the Disneyland website and saw that most of the reservations for the restaurant are filled for the next two months. However, there were a few reservations open for four- and six-person tables at the moment - so if either of those is the size of your group, head over to the website and try to snag one!

Reservation availability is subject to change at any time, so if you are unable to snag a reservation right now, do not lose hope. I would continue to check back often, as other Guests may change their plans and last-minute reservations may open up.

Elizabeth, you can also check with Blue Bayou on the date of your visit and ask about joining the Walk-Up List. There is also usually an option to join the Walk-Up List in the Disneyland Mobile App. To do this, open the app and search for Blue Bayou Restaurant. On the restaurant's page, click "Join Walk-Up List." The app may require that you be near the restaurant to join the Walk-Up List. I also find that when utilizing the restaurant's Walk-Up List, it is best to be flexible with your dining time, and those same-day reservations may be limited!

I am sending you faith, trust, and pixie dust in hopes that you secure that Blue Bayou reservation, Elizabeth. Please visit us again if you have any more questions!

    See ya real soon,
    Melissa
