    Block out dates for September?

    Hi Amie,

Thanks for your question. Block out dates are the source of a good bit of confusion among guests, so I'm happy to help clarify for you. For certain passholders -- mostly those of us who live in Florida and are eligible for discounted annual passes -- some peak dates during the year are blocked out. These generally are the two weeks around Easter, the two weeks around Christmas and New Year's and the peak summer weeks between early June and mid-August.

There also are occasional block out dates on some ticket specials, such as the Discover Disney ticket offered to Florida residents this spring.

To the best of my knowledge, there are no block out dates in September.

Fall is such a great time to visit Walt Disney World. Besides all the usual fun, you will be able to enjoy the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. And, on select nights, you can experience Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Tickets for that special event are expected to go on sale any day.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Amie. Please let us know if you have any other questions about planning your Walt Disney World vacation or if you would like recommendations on resorts, dining, rides and attractions and more.

    Enjoy,

    Wilma
