Hi there, Joanna!
Welcome to
planDisney. Thanks for floating your question by us as you dream of next year's enchanting escape to the
Most Magical Place on Earth. I love to share my love for the
Walt Disney World Water Parks, and I'd be delighted to address your inquiry. Let's dive in!
At this time, the slopes and slides at Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park are closed to Guests. We do not yet know a reopening date for this park or its status for this time next year. I recommend watching the
Disney Parks Blog, following our
Instagram account, and monitoring
this page for operational updates as your vacation approaches.
My family and I planned to visit a water park last month, and my son was disappointed to hear Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park would be closed during our trip; after years of gazing up at the peak of Mount Gushmore, he was finally tall enough to attempt
Summit Plummet! He ended up having a fantastic time at
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and encountered plenty of unique and thrilling attractions. We both loved sliding down
Miss Adventure Falls and
Crush 'n' Gusher, and he spent several hours riding the waves in the
Surf Pool. We're looking forward to our next visit to Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, but my entire family enjoyed the atmosphere, attractions, and snacks at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. We definitely made some core memories at this tropical oasis. Whichever park you experience next year, I know you'll have a splash-tacular time!
I hope this is helpful, Joanna. Before I go, I wanted to remind you about next year's
water park perk. Beginning in 2025, Guests of hotels in the
Disney Resorts Collection are eligible for a complimentary water park visit on their check-in day! Stay tuned for more details as this year comes to a close. Thanks again for stopping by planDisney with your question, and have a magical day!
Just keep swimming,
Betsy
