Hi Christina!
I too dearly miss
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park when it's closed, as well as having the option to visit both water parks since my family loves the water. There’s nothing quite like the thrill of zipping down
Summit Plummet or floating along Cross Country Creek!
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park is full of fun water-themed attractions that make it unique. Did you know that it's designed to look like a melting ski resort? One of my favorite things to do is to take on the
Toboggan Racers, where you can race your friends down a giant slide on a mat. Another must-do is the
Teamboat Springs, one of the world's longest family white-water raft rides – it's a blast for everyone!
As you mentioned, both Blizzard Beach and
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park operate on a rotational schedule. This means when one water park is open, the other is closed. During the closure times, Disney works hard to refurbish the parks to keep them in tip-top shape. While there isn't a way to know if their operating schedule will change in the future, it does seem like Blizzard Beach will continue to be open during the winter months if things keep going the way they are. But hey, that does go well with the winter theme, right?
I too am keeping my fingers crossed that one day both water parks will operate together again. Until that time, as Crush would say, we just have to go with the flow!
