Going to Blizzard Beach during our next disney trip but i do not want to pay $250 for a polar patio -- what area would you recommend we head to as soon as it opens.

    Hi Clara!

Blizzard Beach is an amazing Walt Disney World Water Park!  My son and I love it and I honestly think that he would live there if he could!  There are plenty of great places that offer places to sit in the shade for no charge at Blizzard Beach.  Around Melt-Away Bay, the wave pool at Blizzard Beach, there are several gazebos with a picnic table and beach chairs in them.  All of these are first come, first reserved, except for the one gazebo reserved for the Ski Captain (one child is picked to open Blizzard Beach each day and then they get to have that gazebo for the day with their family).  There are also some great spots for shade and relaxation near the Tike's Peak which is the area for children.  My recommendation is to send someone ahead to secure one of these prime spots for you and your family first thing as soon as the Water Park is open.

I hope that you make some amazing memories splishing and a splashing at Blizzard Beach!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
