Is there a blender at the old Key West resorts villas?

Welcome Home, Diane! I'm pleased as can be to meet a fellow Michigander and glad you stopped by planDisney with your vacation planning question. It looks like you're making final preparations for your Disney Vacation Club adventures starting this week--hooray!

Our family loves staying in DVC accommodations when we travel. The extra space and comforts of home give us room to unwind, and I've always appreciated being able to enjoy some quieter family meals during our vacation, thanks to the kitchens in the Villas.  We always start the day with breakfast before heading off to rope drop the parks so no one is hangry mid-morning!

Your Villa will have the following housewares as standard:

    • Bowls, plates, glasses, and flatware
    • Bottle/can opener
    • Corkscrew
    • Coffee maker (1-Bedroom or larger Villas have 12-cup drip coffeemakers) and mugs
    • Ice bucket
    • Baking sheet
    • Casserole dish
    • Cooking and serving utensils
    • Mixing bowls
    • Storage containers
    • Toaster

Although the Villas do not all come with a blender, they are available upon request so you can mix up a shake or perhaps a spicy margarita and enjoy it on your balcony! You can add this request to your reservation, or ask at the Front Desk at check-in. Tea kettles and electric mixers are also available. You'll find a complete list of amenities posted inside one of the kitchen cabinets--I keep a picture on my phone to refer to when I'm packing for our next trip Home!

Diane, if you need anything else during your stay at Disney's Old Key West Resort, you can make a request via the very cool "Hey, Disney" virtual assistant in your Villa. This is a complimentary and optional feature that rolled at all of the Walt Disney World Resort properties over the past few months and I love this addition! We had a lot of fun trying out different features on our visit last month, including park hours and information, weather, Disney trivia, and even bedtime stories.

Wishing you safe travels from the Mitten State to The Most Magical Place on Earth!  Thanks so much for visiting planDisney, and please stop by again to chat about all things DVC and Walt Disney World.

    Stay Magical!
