You're talking my language: sipping a nice hot beverage on my favorite Disney Cruise Line ship: the beautiful Disney Wonder. I especially love putting a little sweet something from Eye Scream Treats in the bottom of a cup and topping that off with some hot cocoa from the beverage station. Yum!
I reached out to a Disney Cruise Line Cast Member to try to get to the bottom of this little mystery. Of course, it was easy to confirm that Florida-based Joffrey's Coffee and Tea Company is indeed the primary supplier of coffee blends served at Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, Disney's Vero Beach Resort, Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort, and Where Magic Meets the Sea with the Disney Cruise Line. Unfortunately, the Cast Member I spoke with was unable to confirm what specific blend is served onboard the Disney Wonder and other ships in the Disney Cruise Line fleet.
I'm sorry I didn't come up with the exact answer you were looking for today, Melissa. The Cast Member I spoke with suggested asking crew members onboard during your next Disney cruise. Until then, I recommend at least trying a few likely candidates. Joffrey's website lists many options under its "Disney Specialty Coffee Collection." My best guess is that the Disney Cruise Line ships may serve the same "Walt Disney World Resort Blend" offered in the Florida theme parks. If you'd like to try a darker-profile coffee that may be offered in some restaurants, you might try the "Disney French Roast." Outside of the Disney Specialty Coffee Collection, I see that Joffrey's also offers a "Captain's Blend" that may be of interest to pirates and other seafaring types.
I can tell you've made great vacation memories on the Disney Wonder, Melissa.
