What are the 2017 blackout dates for weekday select passes?

    Hi Anne,

The Weekday Select Pass is a great option for Florida residents who can visit the parks throughout the year during the week. Like the Silver Pass (the one I have), the Weekday Select does have block out dates during some peak times.

Those block out dates generally are the week before and the week after Easter, the peak summer weeks from early June to mid August and the two weeks during the Christmas/New Year's holidays.

For 2017, the parks become available again for Weekday Select passholders on January 3. The Easter block out days are during the weeks of April 9 and April 16. The summer block out season runs June 5 through August 10.

The calendar does not yet extend to the 2017 holidays, but, as I mentioned, you can expect these tickets to be blocked out for about two weeks then.

Bonus: As part of the Walt Disney World 45th anniversary celebration, annual passes purchased before January 3, 2017 are good for 13 months instead of 12. This includes the Weekday Select! The pass, which is only available for Florida residents, also qualifies for the monthly payment program.

Thanks, Anne, for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Please let us know if we can help in any other way. Enjoy!
