Are there blackout dates for tickets that have expired during the shutdown of COVID-19?

    Hello LyAnh,

Thanks for coming to see us here at planDisney!

Here's hoping you're looking forward to your great, big, beautiful tomorrow with a visit to the Disneyland Resort.

My best suggestion for you to get the details that apply to your theme park tickets is to call the Disneyland Resort Ticket Services team at (714) 781-4636. I'm sure a friendly Cast Member can talk with you about the specific tickets you purchased and offer you the best guidance.

Depending on the type of theme park tickets you purchased, and depending on the Terms and Conditions for those tickets, there might be blockout dates associated with the tickets.

For example, the Disneyland Resort extended the expiration date for 2020 Southern California Resident Tickets through December 16, 2021. Those types of tickets have blockout dates for November 20-27, 2021.

As another example, the Disneyland Resort extended the expiration date for unused 1-Day theme park tickets to December 16, 2021. There are dates on which 1-Day tickets can be used depending on the tier of the ticket, and you can check out those dates online.

You can view the "Theme Park Tickets & Reservations" page and take a look at the "Modifications and Cancellations" information (you'll need to scroll down the page a bit) for details on these and other examples.

LyAnh, I hope this information is helpful as you make your plans to visit the Disneyland Resort. I also suggest keeping up to date with the Disney Parks Blog as a fun way to stay informed about all the magical experiences awaiting you at the Disneyland Resort.

Here's wishing you lots of Disney magic in your day today!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
