First, let me say thank you for your family’s service. The Disney Military Salute tickets are an amazing offer, so let’s talk about how to activate them.
It’s great that you’re paying close attention to those blockout periods. Even though you'll be arriving in the middle of one of those weeks, you should still be able to activate the tickets before using them on November 29. I arrived during a blockout period and wanted to activate my ticket a day in advance, so I could go straight into the theme parks the next morning. This was no problem at all! It’s a great idea to activate them in advance because it will save you time, especially if you’re considering arriving early on your park day for rope drop. Just be sure you've made
theme park reservations.
You'll need a valid military ID to activate the tickets and can do so any Walt Disney World theme park ticket window. You can also activate them at the
Guest Services Welcome Center at Disney Springs. That location is perfect if you plan to have dinner there or go shopping on one of the days during the blockout period.
