What are the 2026 blackout dates for the Disney California $249 passes?

    Hi Mary,

Welcome to planDisney! One of the best things about living in California is being so close to The Happiest Place on Earth!

I’m so glad that Disney has brought back the 3-Day California Resident Ticket Offer! California residents can visit the parks three times between January 1 and May 21, 2026; just be sure to make your park reservations in advance. When checking the Offers and Discounts page, there are currently no blackout dates listed for the 3-Day California Resident Tickets. Once the offer becomes available on December 3, I recommend checking back for the full details of the promotion.

While there haven’t typically been blackout dates for this offer in the past, park reservations for popular days can fill up quickly. Holidays like Valentine’s Day or special Disney celebrations like “May the 4th” tend to be in high demand. If you’re hoping to visit around those dates, make your park reservations as soon as possible.

When purchasing the promotional 3-Day Tickets, you’ll be prompted to select your visit dates and which park you’d like to start your day in. Don’t worry, you can always go back and modify your reservation dates or change your starting park if your plans change (subject to availability).

I hope this information helps, Mary! If you have any more questions or need extra planning tips, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me or any of my fellow planDisney panelists. We’re always happy to sprinkle a little extra pixie dust on your Disney planning.

    Catch you in the parks!
