What is a blackout date and why is Nov 16 one for MVMCP? Will there be a second showing for Fantasmic during Thanksgiving week?

    Hi Mary,

A "Blockout Date" is a date in which certain Annual Passes are not allowed for entrance, and you would have to purchase a "regular" Park Ticket or Event Ticket for entrance.  This is usually due to anticipated high crowd levels, which occur during special events or holiday seasons and such.  This will only affect you if you are an annual pass holder.  If you hold a Premium Annual Pass, there are usually no blockout dates.

To answer your second question, during Thanksgiving week this year Fantasmic will only have one showing each day, which will be the 6:30 p.m. show time.

I hope this helps!  Have a magical day!
