Ahoy, Shelly!
Sounds like you are a pirates fan! “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl” is actually my favorite live action Disney movie. So I get a bit giddy when I think about all the swashbuckling fun that Disney Cruise Line has to offer.
This would make an awesome trivia question because it was actually the Flying Dutchman that once graced the waters of
Castaway Cay. Alas, the ship and her crew charted a new course and sailed off to find treasure. But it means that there is an unobstructed view of your Disney Cruise Line ship in all its glory from the Castaway Family Beach. It may just be me, but there’s something so serene about relaxing on the beach and taking in the majesty of a Disney ship.
Pirate fans still have plenty of ways to raise the Jolly Roger on their Disney cruise:
If ye find Captain Jack Sparrow on Castaway Cay or onboard, be sure ye get a photo with him. The schedule of Character Greetings can be found on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. Think of the app as your compass to navigate all the activities and entertainment onboard.
Follow the map to where the X marks the spot for
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for a pirate makeover. With the Pirates League Package, Guests ages three and up can be transformed into buccaneers (available on Pirate Party Nights only).
“Yo ho yo ho” the evening away on
Pirate Night during the festive deck party, pirate-themed dinner during your
rotational dining, and fireworks at sea.
Sail back by if you have more planning questions. We ARRRRR always happy to help!
SEA ya real soon!
