Welcome, Linda! We're so happy to welcome you to planDisney.
It sounds like you are preparing for a visit to Disneyland Resort this month. How exciting! I love a good summertime visit to 'The Happiest Place on Earth!' The answer to your question about blockout dates depends on what type of ticket or Magic Key Pass you may have. I'll share how to check this for each ticket or pass type.
1-day Tickets: These tickets are assigned to a Tier, with corresponding blockout dates. 1-day tickets can be used on any date in the designated tier or lower tiers through their expiration date.
Multi-Day Tickets: These tickets do not carry blockout dates, necessarily but they should correspond to a confirmed park reservation for a valid day. Therefore, if you modify your visit to a day that is a higher price, you may need to pay the difference. In this case, I recommend calling to speak with a Cast Member using the
Tickets line.California Resident Ticket Offer: This special offer is available to residents in eligible ZIP codes 900000 to 96199 for use through September 28, 2023. You can view any applicable blockout dates by visiting the
California Resident Ticket Offer Details.
Magic Key Pass:
Depending on whether you have an Inspire Key, Believe Key, Enchant Key, or Imagine Key, you'll want to view the blockout dates for each pass type.
In each case, you'll want to remember that both a valid ticket or pass, plus a park reservation is required to enter the Disneyland Resort theme parks, and park reservations are subject to availability. I hope this information gets you the answers you were looking for, Linda! More than anything, I hope you have a spectacular visit to Disneyland Resort this summer! Rogers: The Musical just made its debut in the Hyperion Theater at Disney California Adventure Park, and it's sure to be the epic hit of the summer! Please don't hesitate to come back to planDisney if we can offer any other recommendations for your upcoming visit!
Wishing you Wondrous Journeys,
