Just a bit curious,Does Disney ride operators have any way of detecting or can detect if an individual does not have on a seat belt or if a secure bar is not properly secured, and is this detected before the ride starts.

    Hi Dave!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

In my experience, every seat belt, lap bar or other restraint on every ride that requires them at Walt Disney World Resort is checked by the Cast Members operating the rides for being fully secure before the ride will be allowed to commence.   There are ways to check if a lap bar is not fully lowered, or if a seat belt is not secured.  Safety is paramount at Walt Disney World.
