Hi, am a bit confused by the transportation at Downtown Disney. We r staying at SSR in 2 days (yeah!)and thought if we walked to Downtown Disney we would be able to get to other resorts and parks quicker.Do buses run directly to parks from Downtown Disney?

    Hi Eleanor,

Buses do not run directly from Downtown Disney to the parks. I think the quickest way for you to get to a park would be to take the bus from your resort.  However, walking to Downtown Disney is a great idea if you want to dine at a restaurant located in a resort.  You'll be able to take transportation from Downtown Disney directly to that resort, rather than traveling to a park and transferring buses.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
