I am a bit confused about the Photo Pass +. When should I purchase it? I read it is only valid for 14 days. If I purchase it online do I need to do it only a day or so before we leave? Thanks!

    Hi Deborah!

The rules and procedures for PhotoPass+ are tricky.  I have used it three times now, so I have a bit of experience with it.  To take advantage of the pre-purchase discount, you need to order it at least 10 days before your trip.  This is because they mail you a voucher for you to pick up your card and lanyard once you are at Walt Disney World.  You can purchase it at any time as the credit for your purchase never expires.  For instance, you can purchase it today for a trip you have for next year.

The 14 day rule is from once the card is activated and is in your hands.  When you hand over your voucher to get our new PhotoPass+ card, they will hole punch a date into it that is 14 days out from your first day.  All photos taken for the next 14 days or less will be included in your PhotoPass+ account.  When you get home, you will be able to view and edit your photos and then order your CD.

Please let me know if I can assist you further with your questions about PhotoPass.

    Have a magical day!
