I have a birthday vacation coming up in april and 6 family members total only 1 of us has a AP PASS, can the discount be used with any credit card as long as the ap holder is present with ID?

    Hello, Mercedez!

I bet you and your family are looking forward to visiting the Disneyland Resort soon. There’s no better place to celebrate your birthday than the Happiest Place on Earth!

Annual Passport benefits such as merchandise and restaurant discounts are meant for the Passholder only, so the credit card presented for payment must match the name on the Annual Passport card and photo ID. The Annual Passholder in your party will need to use his or her credit card for payment in order for a discount to be applied. Even when paying with cash or a gift card, the Annual Passholder is typically asked to show photo identification to go along with the pass.

Be sure to pick up a complimentary birthday button for yourself at City Hall in Disneyland Park or the Chamber of Commerce in Disney California Adventure Park to help you celebrate your special day. It can be customized with your name so you’ll receive personalized birthday wishes from Cast Members and other Guests! If you have any table-service meals planned, be sure to let your server know you’re celebrating a birthday because you may receive some extra magic during your dining experience.

I hope this answers your question, Mercedez, and that your visit to the Disneyland Resort is filled with pixie dust! Please write back with any other planning questions you can dream of as your vacation approaches.

    Wishing you magic,
