My mom's 40th Birthday will be shortly after our return from our Disney vacation (staying at a condo in the Grand Floridian). We are going from May 16, 2014... to May 26, 2014... (10 days)... Any suggestions for celebration?

Hi Emily, welcome to the Disney Parks Mom's Panel!

As a soon to be 40 year old dad, I am happy to suggest some options to celebrate your mother's birthday at Walt Disney World.

Start with a tasty breakfast at the Grand Floridian Cafe or Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, to later enjoy early park hours.

In the afternoon, when the weather is hot and the parks are crowded, relax and experience a tour at any of the theme parks.

Mom will probably love to share an early dinner at a Signature Restaurant like California Grill, Artist Point, Jiko-The Cooking Place or Yachtsman Steakhouse.

At most of your table service meals you can order or buy a birthday cake and have it deliver at your table.

Disney's Specialty Cruises offer a private cruise to celebrate any occasion and enjoy a fireworks nighttime show.

I suggest booking reservations for all these activities, with 180 days in advance.

These are just some of the many activities available to celebrate a birthday at Disney.

Thank you for visiting and letting us help you plan a magical celebration at Walt Disney World.
Hope to hear again from you.
