For my mom's birthday we were planning on taking her to either Mickey's Backyard BBQ or the Coral Reef. There are 12 of us in the party and we truly want her to feel special and enjoy the experience, which would you suggest?

Your mom is going to have such a wonderful birthday at the Walt DIsney World Resort. There is no better way to celebrate then to spend quality family time at the Happiest Place on Earth. As for where to eat, both choices have some great qualities. Mickey's Backyard BBQ Dinner Show is a fun filled all-you-care-to-eat Disney Character dance party with live entertainment at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. The ribs and chicken picnic dinner in the middle of the covered, open-air Pavilion at Fort Wilderness is yummy. There is  fun, down home music from a country-western band, line dancing, rope tricks and kid-friendly fun, you won't sit still for a second. One cool thing to know is that celebrations are acknowledged in the show. It is a great way to enjoy that special day. The Coral Reef Restaurant, located at The Seas with Nemo & Friends Pavilion at Epcot theme park will allow you all to enjoy a great lunch and dinner  surrounded by stunning underwater views of the Caribbean Coral Reef.  As you all look out on the largest inland saltwater environment ever built you will be enjoying some quality fresh fish and delicious selections of beef. The Coral Reef combines the best in delicious food and an extraordinary view. While I would prefer a meal at Coral Reef, the BBQ is great fun for the whole family. Once you decide just call (407) WDW-DINE and speak to the friendly and helpful cast member who will make the reservation for you. Make sure to pick the birthday girl up some birthday Mickey ears and the personalized birthday celebration button. I hope this assists and I cannot wait to see you at the parks.
