    It’s my 50th birthday next year and wanted to try and stay somewhere special. We always come over in January and I really wanted to stay in the gran destino tower. Unfortunately it doesn’t come up when I search my dates! Is it not available in January?

    I'm so excited to hEAR about your 50th birthday plans to visit Walt Disney World Resort!  And you won't be on your own in celebrating Alan, as Walt Disney World Resort is also marking its 50th Anniversary by holding a whole 18 month-long World’s Most Magical Celebration beginning on 1st October 2021.

    Oh boy!  You'll just love staying within either a Room or Suite in the Gran Destino Tower at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort!  I've been lucky enough to have stayed in a Standard View Room in the Gran Destino Tower where I could see both Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios in the distance.  My top tip for when staying in the Gran Destino Tower would be to request a room on a high floor which should then provide as best a birds-eye view as possible.

    Alan, on your behalf I've taken a quick peek at the current availability for accommodation within the Gran Destino Tower at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, and am pleased to say that I can indeed see rooms available for January 2022. 

    My best advice for you in booking your dream room within the Gran Destino Tower would be to speak with a knowledgeable Cast Member by dialling the freephone number contained within this handy Walt Disney World Resort Contact Us link.  Cast Members are able to assist in over-the-phone bookings and can provide up-to-date availability and pricing details too.  Another top tip would be for you to request that the Cast Member assisting also goes ahead and notes your special 50th birthday on your reservation details.

    When you stay at the Gran Destino Tower you really should take the time one evening to enjoy the sights and delights of the Dahlia Lounge rooftop bar.  I really can highly recommend treating yourself to one of the many fine wines, cocktails, or zero-proof cocktails on offer on the extensive Dahlia Lounge Menu.
