Hello Bobbie-Lynn! Let me be one of the first to wish you a very (early) Happy 50th Birthday from the Disney Parks Moms Panel! As far as I'm concerned you could not have picked a better place to celebrate this important milestone! I recently celebrated my 40th at The Most Magical Place on Earth! It was the best! So let's talk about getting your birthday planned!
The good news is that you can book a room-only reservation 499-days in advance of your trip, which means you can book now for a January 2021 vacation! You can only book this far in advance by calling (407)939-1936. However, if you want to book a package including room, park tickets, and perhaps the
Disney Dining Plan then you will need to wait until this summer. Packages for the following year are usually released in either June or July. One thing that you could consider doing is booking your resort of choice now and revising your reservation once packages are released in a few months. If you do this, just be sure to revise your reservation as soon as possible after packages are released. Also, be sure to continue to check the
Walt Disney World Resort website for special offers made available for your dates of travel. Even if you have already booked, you can call to check if a newly released offer can be applied to your reservation!
Because it is your 50th birthday, I am sure you will want to celebrate with a special Disney Dining Reservation! My favorite is
Be Our Guest for dinner at
Magic Kingdom Park. It is a little on the pricey side but it was a special birthday and the food was amazing! If you
pick a favorite Disney Dining location, be sure to be online (or on the phone) 180-days in advance of your vacation arrival date to make your dining reservation. Some of the most popular restaurants book really fast! When booking the reservation be sure to mention that you are celebrating a birthday. You should also mention this to your host and/or server when you arrive for your reservation. Disney Dining locations like to make birthdays special for their Guests!
Bobbie-Lynn, I am excited for your birthday at the Walt Disney World Resort! I hope you will come back to visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel as you continue your planning!
