If I have birthday Be Our Guest dinner reservations that overlap with Boo Bash, can I still watch the fireworks even though I don't have a Boo Bash ticket? The reservation is at 8:00.

    Hi Leigh-Ann!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.

I can't think of a better place to celebrate a birthday than at Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort, and what a wonderful meal you'll get to enjoy at Be Our Guest Restaurant! The Beast's Castle is gorgeous, inside and out, and you'll be amazed at all the details that tell the story of the romance between Belle and Beast. I always tell Guests to make sure and take a good look at the ceiling mural in the Grand Ballroom. The cherub angels in the painting have either the faces of Imagineers' babies or Imagineers themselves as babies. A select few have adult Imagineer faces on tiny baby bodies!

Disney After Hours BOO BASH will be held on select evenings at Magic Kingdom Park through October 31. The three-hour specially-ticketed event will begin at 9 pm or 9:30 pm, depending on the date. On BOO BASH event days, ticketholders for the celebration will be allowed entry into the park as early as 7 pm. They will be issued special wristbands upon entry, to designate them as event guests. Cast Members will be positioned throughout the park to slowly filter out day guests at park closing time at 9 pm (8:30 on select evenings). Once the event officially begins, only Guests with BOO BASH wristbands will be able to access attractions and will have to show their wristbands to enter certain areas of the park.

As a day guest to the park, you would absolutely be able to view the scheduled Nighttime Spectacular before the beginning of the BOO BASH (Happily Ever After through September 29, and Disney Enchantment beginning October 1). The issue will be with the time of your dinner reservation. With an 8 pm dining reservation, you'll be enjoying your meal during the fireworks presentation (8:15 pm on evenings with a 9:00 pm event, and 8:45 pm on evenings with a 9:30 pm event). If you'd like to enjoy the fireworks, you can always try to make an earlier reservation for dinner.

I hope you have a magical birthday and a pixie-dusted Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
