My birthday is in early June. Can I get a birthday badge if I go to Disneyland at the end of May? Do I need to show any identification to get a birthday badge?

    Hi Yuran!

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for sending this Disneyland Resort question to us hEAR!

Oh Wow! I think it's always a great idea to go to Disneyland Resort to celebrate your Birthday. I also think it's a great idea to celebrate your unBirthday there. Luckily for the both of us, Mickey and his pals love to celebrate all of our special and unspecial days with us too.

I'm very happy to report, Yuran, that there is no date verification needed to receive a Birthday Celebration Button. All you need to do is ask! These are available at almost every shop and even some Disneyland Dining Locations. If you'll be a Guest at a Disneyland Resort Hotel, you can even ask for one at Check-in. But your best bet will be at the main Guest Relations locations, which are City Hall in Disneyland Park and the Chamber of Commerce in Disney California Adventure Park. There is usually a big basket just inside these locations full of five different celebration button styles, which are: Happy Birthday, I'm Celebrating, First Visit, Happily Ever After, and possibly the 'Just Graduated' pin as summer is a popular time for graduation gift-trips. You and your crew are welcome to whichever pins fit your mood.

Even though it won't be your actual Birthday, you're more than welcome to wear your birthday pin on this trip! I promise I won't tell. Wear it proudly over each of your Disney days as these little beauties have been known to pack some pixie dust. You could even have the rest of your group wear the 'I'm Celebrating' style. Be sure to ask a Cast Member if they have a marker so you can write 'Yuran's Birthday' on the front of their buttons. This way everyone will know it's your very special day!

I hope that this helped to better plan your upcoming Disney days, Yuran! Be sure to follow the official planDisney Instagram account for even more tips and tricks. And if you have any more Disneyland Resort vacation planning questions, We're All Ears!
