How do we get a birthday cake

    Hello, Lisa,

Thank you for sending your question to planDisney.  It looks like you may actually be at Walt Disney World right now!  How incredibly exciting to be back to the magic and wonder of Walt Disney World.  While you are there, you can order a birthday cake at many participating restaurants by checking with the host at the restaurant. The cakes are incredibly yummy and so much fun as they are shaped like Mickey ears. You will have a choice of chocolate or white chocolate, and you can have "Happy Birthday" written on it as well.  They are a perfect way to celebrate a birthday!

You have another birthday cake option, too, by pre-ordering a specialty cake at Amorette's Patisserie at Disney Springs. Not only do they offer Mickey cakes, but they also have Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto cakes in a variety of delicious flavors:  chocolate chiffon cake, milk chocolate mousse and orange pate de fruit jelly OR lemon chiffon cake, white chocolate mousse and strawberry pate de fruit jelly.  I'm not sure I'd even know where to begin making a choice!  These cakes do require 48 notice, and you will need to pick them up at the store.

Wishing you a magical trip and an equally wonderful birthday celebration.  Please let us know if you have any further questions. -Kara
