Hello. For the Bippity Boppity Boutique - if our daughter is turning 3 the day after visiting Disneyland - is she still able to book an experience at the boutique (even though she technically will not be 3 until the following day?) Thanks so much!

Hi there, Rachel! Welcome to planDisney. How exciting to be celebrating a terrific 3rd birthday at none other than The Happiest Place on Earth. Your daughter is going to be in for a treat!

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is such a classic Disneyland Park experience for anyone looking for a royal makeover. From the dresses to the shining armor, there is something for every royal Guest in training. While your daughter is still 2 years old, unfortunately she won’t be able to book this experience, as theme park reservations and valid admission are required. I know this may feel like her castle dreams are on hold, but there are still so many ways to make her big day magical!

Even though you won’t be able to make a reservation for your daughter, you can still go into Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique where she can pick out an accessory or a dress. As I’ve passed by the shop, I’ve often found that sometimes the Fairy Godmother’s Apprentices will wave their magic wands to sprinkle pixie dust over children’s heads. This little touch of pixie dust can make her birthday feel just as magical until she’s old enough for her royal makeover.

Head over to Guest Services to receive a complimentary birthday button. As she wears it proudly down Main Street, U.S.A., Cast Members will happily wish your princess a very merry birthday. Whenever I see someone with a birthday button, I love wishing them a happy birthday! It’s these little moments that are sure to brighten her day.

If you’re looking to interact with fellow princesses, Napa Rose offers Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures, a character dining experience currently located at the Trillium Room at the Grand Californian Hotel. Throughout a delicious 3-course meal fit for royalty, you can enjoy the company of various princesses. Let your server know it’s your daughter’s birthday ahead of time or note it on your reservation when booking. In my experience, they usually add a little pixie dust with a sweet treat and a birthday candle. We celebrated my son’s birthday at the parks recently, and he still can’t stop talking about how our servers sang to him and he got to blow out a candle. This royal dining experience is a fun alternative to meeting princesses at Royal Hall, which is another great way to see several princesses in one spot. You could grab an autograph book at one of the shops and have princesses autograph a special birthday message for her. If your daughter has a favorite, you can always check the Disneyland Mobile App to see when and where certain princesses are appearing.

Rachel, thank you so much for visiting planDisney with your question. I hope this helps as you continue to plan your princess’s upcoming birthday visit. I know it will be nothing short of magical for her. If you have any questions along the way, planDisney is always here to help!
