Can you bike to the different parks from your hotel? Where can we lock our bikes when we get to the parks if we can ride there?

Hey there, hi there Beth, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for taking a brake and stopping by with your question. We never tire of chatting with Guests, and I'd be wheely happy to help you today.

You must be so excited about your vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth! With the 50th-anniversary celebration on the horizon, it's an especially memorable time to visit. While casually pedaling around several Resort Hotels is permitted, for the safety of everyone, bicycles are not allowed through the auto plazas at the Walt Disney World theme parks.

Even if you can't use your wheels to get you from point A to point B, if you're staying at one of the resorts that offer bicycle rentals, I think you'll find some enjoyable paths and scenery to pedal past recreationally. Currently, bike rentals are available at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, Disney's Old Key West Resort, The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, and The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, My family has toured Disney's Old Key West Resort by bike, and we like to ride past the beautifully manicured greens of Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course and the picturesque resort grounds.

I hope this is helpful, Beth, and that you have a fantastic trip without too many bumps in the road. Thanks for sending your question our way, and we can't wait to see ya real soon!

Greetings! I'm Betsy, a middle school teacher, wife, and mom of two. My family and I love to travel the world, but our best memories are those made when we're visiting Walt Disney World or Disneyland Resort. No matter how many times we visit, there is always something new to see, ride, or eat at the Disney Parks. Learn More About Betsy
