We have a big stroller and unloading/loading kids to get on/off tram isn’t ideal (nor is getting on a bus at their off site parking locations I’ve read). We want to walk from parking to theme parks. What’s best area to park & walk that’s at the resort?

    Hi there, Joanne!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I can't wait for you to make magical memories with your family at the Happiest Place on Earth. You will find that the Disneyland Resort is very accommodating when it comes to children of all ages. Since many attractions do not have height requirements, these can be enjoyed together as an entire family with even the youngest Guests. You'll also be glad to know that stroller parking is available outside all attractions and restaurants. I recommend putting an identifier on your stroller to make it easy to spot in a large crowd since many strollers look similar from far away. We like to tie some simple ribbons to our stroller handle and have found this to be sufficient when locating our stroller. Keep in mind that strollers larger than 36" x 52" and wagons are not permitted inside the theme parks.

If you would prefer not to fold your stroller after arriving, I would recommend parking at the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure. This is the closest theme park parking area to the park entrances. Although a tram is available to take you to the parks, walking from this structure is very doable as it is only a quarter of a mile long. Your walk will take you through the Downtown Disney District before arriving at the park gates. I like to grab a coffee from Starbucks in the Downtown Disney District on my way into the parks, because this location utilizes mobile ordering. This means I can have my beverage waiting for me when we walk by! It's the perfect way to start my day.

I hope this helps, and have a magical trip!
